In a nutshell

In 2010, swissnex India was established as an outpost of the government of Switzerland to create meaningful collaborations between Switzerland and India in the areas of science, education, art and innovation.

An initiative of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research and Innovation (SERI) in association with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, swissnex India is part of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Bangalore. The swissnex network across the globe includes Boston, San Francisco, and Brazil in the west and Bangalore and Shanghai in the East.

Goals

  • Create a lively, exciting space for getting excellent support and advice and inspiring ideas to expand the science, technology and innovation network.
  • Build and maintain a robust network between various universities, research institutions, organizations and innovation communities in India and Switzerland.
