swissnex India, Federation of Gujarat Industries and Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce are organising a Seminar on “The Swiss Model of Applied Sciences: Innovation – Start-ups -Vocational Education” on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Vadodara. The Objective is to establish the organic linkage between these three aspects, engage with the ecosystem for startups, and assess the need for introducing the Swiss Vocational Education system of Applied Sciences for skills development.

The Seminar is oriented to provide a platform to exchange ideas with representatives of industry and academic institution to enable identification of specifics of gaps and demand for skills development in Gujarat where the Swiss Vocational Education through promotion of the Applied Sciences could be adopted to upgrade technical competence and productivity.

Gujarat based entrepreneurs, individuals and institutions with specific interest in Hi-Tech startups(IT, CleanTech, MedTech,) and Social Impact, startup mentoring and coaching, infrastructure for startups (co-working spaces) and venture capitalists & angel investors are invited.
