Compagnie Linga, a contemporary dance company founded in Switzerland, is visiting Bangalore with a unique program that combines art and technology. Working in collaboration with the Sports Science Institute at the University of Lausanne, the Geneva University of Music, Future Instruments and Biopac Sytem inc., Compagnie Linga is starting a new choreographic venture that seeks to open up a dialogue between the language of art and the language of science, by developing an interactive system transforming the impulses of the muscular activity into sound. By using  a sound “system” developed in association with Christophe Calpini, the dancers create music with the movements of their body.

Compagnie Linga will present two shows in Ranga Shankara, the world-class theatre facility in Bangalore with the support of swissnex India and Pro Helveia – Swiss Art Council. Come witness a performance like no other, a truly unique combination of dance, music, and the human body.
