Summer & Autumn School Namaste Program

Namaste program is a sub-project of the Radiobus program, which is a school radio concept introduced in 2002 by the University of Teacher Education, Canton of Vaud in partnership with the Directorate General of Compulsory Education (DGES) in Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

Students and professors from HEP Vaud and Christ University will visit one another’s institutions during summer and autumn schools respectively.

The Namaste project will be presented to students by the speakers involved in the training. The B.Ed students will visit areas of high school education in the Canton of Vaud and Bangalore (discoveries and cultural exchanges).

Different workshops will be organised to conceptualize and create the radio programme that will be broadcasted in the second week. The ‘radio language’, animation, chronicles and reports/interviews, including technical aspects, will be part of the training (recording – transfer – mix – organization of broadcasting). During the second week, students and teachers will have the opportunity to visit a secondary school for a day and implement their learning with high school students.
