Dr. Alexander Baumgartner works as a research associate for the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning at the ZHAW School of Management and Law. He studied business administration (diploma in business administration ‐ equivalent to B.A.) at the University of Cooperative Education Loerrach as well as economics and business education (diploma in economics and business education ‐ equivalent to M.A.) at the University of Konstanz. He completed his PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) at the University of Mannheim in 2014 on the topic of error competence of vocational trainers. Alexander Baumgartner worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the Universities of Konstanz and Mannheim. Since 2014, he has been employed at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning at the ZHAW School of Management and Law, where he is head of Services. His research interests include modeling and measurement of competencies and digital learning.
