Simon Johnson mentors and invests in Swiss tech start-ups and an advisor to the Swiss National Centre for Robotics. A serial entrepreneur, Simon left his sales and marketing job at Hewlett-Packard to create a satellite positioning, navigation and tracking systems company. He then co-founded and was CEO of a Softbank funded company, which provided the first premium content on mobile phones for companies including Yahoo! and Microsoft. Simon produced and presented a primetime Swiss television program showcasing technologies that will change our daily lives. His latest venture, OpenStratosphere, is about stratospheric solar powered unmanned vehicles that will end the dominance of satellites! Simon is also consulting for the World Bank on its future mobility project Lake Victoria Challenge, Senior Advisor of Alpana Ventures and Vice-President of the Drone Industry Association Switzerland DIAS.
From a Master of Engineering achieved between EPFL and Caltech (California Institute of Technology), Mélanie previously worked as a project manager and industry liaison, with a wide expertise in IT and Energy projects. With a wide network in various industries across Switzerland, Europe and the world, including in the aviation world, she currently leads the development of the network, partnerships and collaborations at INVOLI.

Raghav Khanna did his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and his Masters at ETH Zurich where he was awarded the ETH Medal for building a novel thermal energy storage for solar power during his masters thesis. He is currently a graduate student at the Autonomous Systems Lab under the guidance of Professor Roland Siegwart where he works on using autonomous aerial vehicles and data analysis to map farms and help farmers produce more and better quality crops with less chemical input, as part of the Flourish European Project.
Nicola Kyburz, co-founder of Linda (Line inspection with Drone Automation), is experienced in banking and finance, startup advisory, contract negotiations, consulting in energy business, law, etc. An operator of autonomous long endurance drones, Linda is equipped with laser scanner, cameras and more, to provide digitalized intelligence through data of critical infrastructure like power lines, acquired by powerful multi sensors.
