The Embassy of Switzerland and swissnex India in collaboration with the Acharya’s NRV School of Architecture present the photography exhibition “Building images: Photography focusing on Swiss architecture”, featuring 25 years of Swiss architecture through photography, curated by Hubertus Adam and Elena Kossovkaja from the Swiss Architecture Museum (SAM), Basel.

Mr. Hubertus Adam, Director, Swiss Architecture Museum, Basel will be in Bangalore for opening of the exhibition and will deliver his keynote lecture on the occasion highlighting how Swiss architecture of the last 25 years is represented via the medium of photograhpy.

The exhibition will be open to public at the Acharya’s NRV School of Architecture from 18th – 30th September between 10 am – 3 pm (except weekends).

Profile Hubertus Adam

Hubertus Adam, born 1965 in Hanover, Germany, studied art history, archaeology and philosophy at Heidelberg. Freelance art historian since 1992; 1996-98 editor of the periodical Bauwelt in Berlin; 1998 – 2012 editor of the periodical archithese in Zurich .

Hubertus Adam has published widely on twentieht-century architectural history and contemporary architecture. Since 2010, he is the Artistic Director, since 2013 the Director of the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel / Switzerland.
