After successfully setting up operations in Tokyo and Zurich, Rapyuta Robotics – an ETH Zurich spinoff that builds cloud robotics solutions, wanted to unearth the opportunities in Bangalore, the IT hub of India. Rapyuta had learned about the Commission of Technology and Innovation’s (CTI) long-standing partnership with swissnex India to assist Swiss startups entering India, at a startup event organised by us in Zurich. Being a CTI-funded startup, Rapyuta Robotics was able to leverage the exclusive market entry camp in India. In addition to housing the team for three weeks, swissnex provided guidance on the registration processes, the legal and IP rights in India, and also assisted them with recruiting the resources to set up a fully-functional office in Bangalore.
Bangalore was indeed the perfect place to power Rapyuta Robotics’ technology offerings from. The facility now builds the ‘Platform-as-a-Service’ (PaaS) framework which is the backbone of their cloud platform. “We have seen this energy for ourselves in the warm welcome we have received and in the diversity of talent we are now working with. We are excited to grow with our Bengaluru team”, said Gajan Mohanarajah, CEO of Rapyuta Robotics.
Here’s how we explore today’s opportunities for tomorrow’s solutions!
