By crossing conventional boundaries, swissnex offers a platform to foster collaboration and creativity for inspiring research and ground-breaking innovation. swissnex India – Consulate General of Switzerland is an initiative of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research and Innovation (SERI) in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

Vacancy: Manager, Corporate Innovation (Indian citizen, Contract position)

Duration: 12 months (starting February 2018)

Tasks:
 

1. Scouting for innovative Indian technologies and partners for Swiss stakeholders to collaborate with

– Building a network of pertinent stakeholders in Indian ecosystem amongst startups, academic or organisations engaged in open innovation
– Developing a knowledge base of innovation and background information through thematic research
– Developing a programmatic approach to achieve objectives

2. Business Development
 
– To identify and engage with Swiss corporates, based both in India and Switzerland for topics within swissnex India’s ambit
– To identify new leads
– Preparing value proposition documents and pitches
– Maintaining fruitful relationships with prospective and existing customers
 
3. Project Management and administration
 
– Planning and execution for content, logistics and project management
– Collaborate with teams within swissnex for emerging requirements
– Organise in-house and external platforms surrounding corporate innovation mandate and accompany delegations
 
4. Communications and internal collaboration
 
– Prepare and manage content such as CRM, blogs and pictures
– Manage communication between partners, sponsors, and other project partners

 Requirements and profile:

1. Indian citizen or legal resident of India
2. 4 – 6 years of work experience in new business development and corporate engagement
3. Academic background in engineering (Robotics / Analytics / ICT / Wireless)
4. Ability to multi-task and flexible for occasional evening or weekend assignments
5. Team player + the ability to work unsupervised


Would be a plus:
1. Proven record in corporate environment working with innovations
