An exciting start to 2016 for Zürcher Fachhochschule, in Bangalore

The month of January is exciting for us with delegations from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and the Zurich University of Arts –  successfully initiating online platforms, formalising academic collaborations and organising week-long programmes with their academic partners in Bangalore.

ZHdK and Bangalore School of Music formalises their partnership

It’s a great start to the year with the good news of partnership between Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and Bangalore School of Music. They have opened opportunities for interactions with the professors and students of the university through an activity-based MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to foster cooperation between the two institutions through an intercultural music and education project for exchange of music, theory and effective teaching  methodology.

At the beginning of the spring semester, which starts on 22nd February ZHdK, the department of music will receive the project details as well as the details for the interested students and faculty to apply for an exchange next year.

ZHAW and Christ University International Social Work Week
(January 23 – February 3 2016)

A 14-member student and faculty delegation from the School of Social Work, ZHAW are in Bangalore to participate at the ‘International Social Work Week’ in collaboration with the Christ University, Bangalore.
The exciting one-week class-room and field work programme has been jointly developed by ZHAW and Christ University faculty members. This is the 2nd year of the joint programme and it initiated with the MoU of the Universities signed in 2012. More information on the collaboration is available here.
