Swissnex India, Switzerland's outpost for science, technology and culture in India, is an initiative of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Similar institutions are located in Boston, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Singapore. Our goal is to fully exploit the potential of cooperation between Switzerland and the respective host countries in the fields of higher education, research, technology, innovation and culture and to promote Switzerland as a leading country in those domains.

ETH Zurich sent the winning team from 2010 Game Design class to the IIT Bombay Techfest 2012. The team has designed a computer game called “Trunk Enlargement”. swissnex India is pleased to support the student team for the largest technical festival among Indian higher education institutes.

The team has programmed the game entirely on their own, including all the visual computing aspects. During the exhibition, the team demonstrated the game and students from IIT Bombay as well as a significant number of students from other educational institutions played the game and enjoyed it.
