Swissnex India, Switzerland's outpost for science, technology and culture in India, is an initiative of the Swiss State Secretariat for Education and Research of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Similar institutions are located in Boston, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Singapore. Our goal is to fully exploit the potential of cooperation between Switzerland and the respective host countries in the fields of higher education, research, technology, innovation and culture and to promote Switzerland as a leading country in those domains.

swissnex India brought together its stakeholders with movie and music on the occasion of its year end celebrations. The programme started with a welcome address by Dr. Silvia Hostettler followed by a screening of the movie, "It snows in Marrakesh!". The audience loved the movie.

The guitarist duo of Felix Anto (Classical style) an Dinesh K (Portugese style) performed traditional Portugese music. Artistes from the Bangalore School of Music performed their concert, " A Joyous Celebration" with carols.
